Today’s program focuses on Consejo Hispano, formerly the Lower Columbia Hispanic Council.
In a wide ranging conversation – edited here for time – we talked about the one stop, range of help provided through Consejo Hispano, which has expanded services in Clatsop, Tillamook, Columbia and Pacific counties.
But our conversation also led us to immigration, to hate and intolerance and to history.
Our guests are executive director Jenny Pool Radway, volunteer and outreach coordinator Diana Nino, and board member Rosa Gilbert.
Ms. Radway speaks first…..
Roger presents a panel on the Clatsop County Comprehensive Plan revisions.
Through the magic of radio, we take you back to a Sunday evening in 1983 – high atop the Gunderson Building in downtown Astoria...
Part two of a program about the Habitat Conservation Plan in Oregon State Forests.
